20th April 2008 - Last year, Sam and Alex's dad Ian took part in the
Derby 10k run. He has decided to take things a little easier this year
so along with his brother Michael, and Michael's father-in-law Greg, Ian
is running the slightly shorter Derby Fun Run on Sunday 20th April. If
you would like to sponsor Ian, Michael or Greg, please contact us via
this site.
One of Ian's colleagues, Maggie, makes handmade cards for various occasions.
She has agreed to donate a percentage of each card sold to Twins with

13th October 2007 - Sarah’s friend Charlotte Hunter and her sister
Zoe Crosby are taking part in a parachute jump in October (exact date
to be confirmed) to raise funds for the boys. If you would like to sponsor

UPDATE: Due to low lying cloud, Charlotte and Zoe's parachute was cancelled.
This has now been rescheduled for Saturday 3rd November. If you would

13th/14th December - St Andrews Pre-School have kindly agreed to raise
funds from their "Round the Crib" this year to twinswithsma.
This event will be held on Thursday 13th and Friday 14th December. For
further details, please contact ideas@twinswithsma.co.uk
Proposed events
There has been a lot of interest shown in the Charity Poker night which
is to be held in the not too distant future. A brief appeal goes out to
anyone that may be reading this and know of either a public house, social
club or function room that holds regular poker nights and may be able
to provide the adequate facilities, ie, tables, chips, dealers etc that
will help put the event together to make it possible then it would be
appreciated if you could contact us at ideas@twinswithsma.co.uk
. As the focus is on generating funds we are trying to organise the event
with minimal outgoings. Any suggestions would be welcomed.
